Every plan includes

Add-ons

Purpose-built reports within the platform to detect abuse. Turn each one on or off yourself, under Account settings › Add-ons.

Which of your ad clicks came from bots and AI agents, by ad platform and campaign, with repeat clickers and click IDs that landed more than once. It reports; it doesn't change your campaigns or claim refunds.

Free while we're in beta. Its price after the beta isn't set yet; we'll tell you before that changes, and it stays optional.

Member accounts

For sites with member logins: which members' accounts are shared between people, and which are driven by automation, with a CSV your support team can act on and a scheduled email of the members flagged.

Your tag sends the signed-in member's ID (see the install guide).

Free while we're in beta. Its price after the beta isn't set yet; we'll tell you before that changes, and it stays optional.

Going over your plan

There are no overage fees. If you pass your plan in one month, nothing changes. If you're over two months running, we'll ask you to move up a plan.

We email you at 80% and at 100% of your plan. Only if a month runs far past it do we stop recording, and then stop judging visits, until you move up a plan or the month ends. Your pages keep working either way. The details.

Trial and cancelling

A 14-day free trial, no plan to pick. You don't need to know your traffic to start. During the trial Telltale Bot measures your sites' pageviews, and three days before it ends we email you the plan that fits. No card needed: to keep going after the trial, add a card and choose your plan in the viewer (the trial starts on the $20 plan). If you don't, the trial just ends. Nothing is charged, and Telltale Bot stops judging visits until you choose a plan. The trial records up to 500,000 pageviews; past that, every visit is still judged and counted.

Changing plans. Move up at any time and pay only the difference for the rest of your billing period. Move down and the change starts with your next billing period.

Cancelling. Cancel at any time in the viewer: Account settings › Billing, then Manage billing. Your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for and doesn't renew. Closing your account cancels at once.

Refunds. On request, we refund your first payment, or a yearly renewal, in full within 30 days of it. Cancel a yearly plan later in the year and we refund the whole months you haven't used, at a twelfth of the yearly price each. If we end the service, or change our terms in a way you don't accept, we refund what you've paid for time you won't get. Write to support@telltale.bot from your login's email address; refunds go back to the card you paid with, sales tax or VAT included.

Questions

What counts as a pageview?

Each page load where the tag runs, whether the visitor is a person, an AI agent or a bot. Bots count, because judging them is the work.

How do I know how many pageviews I have?

You don't need to know before you start: the free trial measures them and tells you the plan that fits. To estimate, start from the pageviews in your analytics. Expect ours to run somewhat higher: analytics tools leave out many bots, and ad blockers stop them more often than they stop Telltale Bot. Once the tag is on your site, the Usage page shows your pageviews by month.

I have more than 30 million pageviews a month

Write to support@telltale.bot with your monthly pageviews and we'll send you a price.

How does this compare with other bot tools?

Enterprise bot blockers are priced by quote, reported from about $2,000 a month. How Telltale Bot compares lists them and the marketing tools, with their published prices.
